Shine on... "Shine A Light"

If you're a huge Stones fan you MUST see "Shine A Light" - the new Stones/Scorcese concert film which opened nationwide on 4/4/08. As an avid fan for over 25 years now - I have to say that I am proud of "my boys" for not only the longevity of the band's career, but also the style, professionalism and worth-every-penny performance they never fail to deliver.

As usual, age is all the talk when it comes to Mick & Co, but rather than ask about when they'll hang it up - lets celebrate how they are defining what it means to be in your mid-sixties today and still remain respected icons of rock n roll.

If you haven't seen the Rolling Stones live, or haven't had at least a decent seat at a show, go see this on the big screen. The best song is "Some Girls" delivered with Mick's real life playboy angst.

The show was filmed at the intimate Beacon Theater in NY. If you see it in IMAX sit up high to take in the full picture. The Stones are larger than life.

Monkey Man is 64

He's amazing how he prances about on stage and get crowds going. This man and this band have so much power. It's a must to see them live (and pay for the premium tickets - it will be well worth it.)

in red or black for Sympathy for the Devil. Their performance of this song alone makes it worth the ticket price.
